Support the Midland and Receive Kansas CSP Tax Credits
Support the Midland Theater Restoration with Community Service (CSP) Tax Credits
The Midland Theater Foundation was awarded $166,600 in Community Service Tax Credits from the Department of Commerce for the State of Kansas , providing a unique opportunity for donors to make a meaningful impact while receiving a 70% Kansas state tax credit on their contributions.
How it works:
-
Donate to the Midland Theater Foundation’s restoration project.
-
Receive a tax credit (70% of the donation made) on your Kansas state income taxes.
-
Example: A $10,000 donation results in a $7,000 tax credit, making the actual cost to the donor just $3,000 after applying the credit.
Where Your Donation Goes:
Funds raised through this program will directly support critical mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system upgrades in the auditorium—one of the final steps toward reopening the Midland Theater for movies, live performances, and community events.
Act Now—Limited Tax Credits Available:
These tax credits are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are currently available for 2025. Don’t miss this opportunity to maximize your impact and help bring the Midland Theater back to life!
